The Impact Hub Switzerland association was founded in May 2019 by the six Swiss Impact Hubs with a total of eight locations in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano and Zurich. The Swiss-wide community of around 2,000 members consists of entrepreneurs, creatives and techies who can now benefit from the services of the Impact Hub network throughout Switzerland as a result of the collaboration. These include coworking places, meeting rooms, events and start-up support programmes. The association’s activities focus on entrepreneurship, sustainable development, innovation and new forms of work.

Impact Hub Basel was founded in Spring 2017 and joined the Hub family officially in May 2018. The Hub at the Rhine’s knee started building its community through monthly events on various topics around the SDG: before opening its first coworking space in Nov 2019.
In February 2023, Impact Hub Basel relocated to the up and coming Franck Areal. Impact Hub Basel has been supporting social entrepreneurs and sustainable innovators on regenerative economy, as well as health and wellbeing.
Impact Hub Bern is in the center of the capital city. Founded in 2016 and still expanding since then, the Impact Hub Bern is the work space of about 300 members & Starups o entrepreneurs use the four floors of the coworking space, meeting and event rooms to create and collaborate.
One of the most impacting projects au the time is the youngpreneur program for scholar and business newcomers of the region.
Located in the heart of the city, Impact Hub Geneva provides a space where entrepreneurs and innovators come together to prototype new models for a society that works for all – connecting sectors, industries and cultural background.
Founded in 2015, with 300 members from both the French and English speaking part of the city, we have a focus on cross-cultural and cross-sectoral collaboration with the United Nations Ecosystem, the private sector, and the public sector alike.
Impact Hub Lausanne opened its doors early 2018 in a beautifully bright space that was once a print shop for old newspapers. It is a coworking space, a startup incubator, and an event space. Impact Hub Lausanne positions itself at the crossroads between academia – with tech innovations from local universities -, and the public sector, through collaboration with the city on matters of energy, innovation, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
Impact Hub Zürich was founded in 2011 as the first Swiss Impact Hub. Today, it has 1’000 members and is operating the two co-working spaces Colab and Viadukt in downtown Zurich aswell as the innovation space Kraftwerk together with Engagement Migros, ewz and digitalswitzerland.
Impact Hub Ticino is the youngest member of the Impact Hub Switzerland family. Founded in January 2020, it officially opened the doors of its first Coworking Space in January 2021. Located in the heart of Lugano in a beautiful historical villa, the Hub is open to anyone who needs an inspiring place to work, exchange ideas, network and learn.
